Which Resort is best for me?

While both disciplines use either resort, Snow Summit tends to have more skiers, and Bear Mountain is designed with an inclination toward snow boarders – no pun intended.

Big Bear is also home to the Snow Summit Race Team, a U-18 ski program with three different levels of coached skiing. For the little guys, there is the Development Team, or D-Team which builds skiing fundamentals. After passing a skills test, the young athletes can move on to either the competitive Race Team or the non-competitive All-Mountain Team. The Race Team travels California competing, and Snow Summit hosts travel-club races as well.

For the over 18 skiers, there is a Master’s Program, as well as a night ski league, with drop-ins always welcome – and no race experience required!

Always looking to support outdoor activities and all kinds of children’s programs, The Win Group proudly sponsors the youth Race Team’s racing bibs.
